About ECM Epoxy Flooring
ECM Epoxy Flooring was built on a foundation of hard work, craftsmanship, and a genuine passion for transforming concrete surfaces. With roots dating back to 2002, our story began with a commitment to delivering quality flooring solutions built around proper preparation, skilled workmanship, and attention to detail. What started as a small operation has grown into a family-owned and operated business serving Chicago, the greater Chicagoland area, surrounding suburbs, and Northwest Indiana.
Over the years, we have continued to evolve alongside the concrete coatings industry, expanding our expertise, refining our installation methods, and investing in the equipment and materials needed to deliver professional results. Today, we provide a range of residential, commercial, and industrial flooring solutions, including epoxy flooring, vinyl flake coatings, metallic epoxy floors, solid-color epoxy systems, concrete staining and sealing, and other decorative and protective concrete finishes. From residential garages and basements to commercial showrooms, restaurants, retail spaces, and industrial facilities, we tailor our recommendations to the needs of each space.
At the heart of ECM is a father-and-son partnership built on shared experience, trust, and pride in our work. As a family-operated business, we understand that inviting a contractor into your home or business comes with expectations. We believe in clear communication, honest recommendations, and taking the time to understand each customer's goals before beginning a project. Our approach is personal, hands-on, and rooted in the belief that the finished floor should reflect the care that goes into every stage of the installation.
We believe a lasting concrete coating begins long before the final finish is applied. Proper surface preparation, appropriate material selection, and careful application are essential to the performance and appearance of a flooring system. That is why we place an emphasis on evaluating existing concrete conditions, preparing the substrate correctly, and selecting compatible coating systems for the intended environment. Whether the goal is a clean, modern garage floor, a custom metallic epoxy design, a decorative vinyl flake finish, or a functional commercial flooring system, we approach each project with the same commitment to workmanship and attention to detail.
With more than two decades of industry experience behind our family, ECM Epoxy Flooring continues to serve homeowners, business owners, property managers, and contractors throughout the Chicago area and Northwest Indiana. We understand that every project has different priorities, from appearance and maintenance to traffic, environmental conditions, and installation scheduling. Our goal is to help each customer find a practical, attractive flooring solution that suits their space, expectations, and long-term needs.
From the initial estimate to the completed installation, we take pride in providing a straightforward, professional experience built around the values that established our business in the first place. Whether you are upgrading a residential garage, renovating a commercial interior, or planning a larger concrete coating project, we welcome the opportunity to help bring your vision to life.
